Ostava is the third largest city in the Czech Republic. It was build mostly in 20. century through mining and steel industry. Thanks that, you will see in city a lot of relics of this industry. One street is actually going THOUGHT the steel works.

Hitching out

South, towards Frýdek-Místek, Olomouc and Brno

North, towards Bohumín and Poland

East, towards Havířov, Český Těšín and Krakow

East-North, towards Orlová, Karviná

West, towards Opava

From citycenter take tram 7,8,9 or 17. Get out on station 17. listopadu and continue in ORIGINAL tram direction throught street Opavská cca. 1 km till you reach bus station. Almost all cars are going to Opava.
