Celebrating Christmas Eve in Namibia

Just a decently respectable bum currently residing in Melbourne while planning a trip to Papua New Guinea :)

Europe --> Bosnia,Slovenia, Poland*, Hungary, Macedonia, Montenegro, Monaco*, Serbia*, Slovakia, Kosovo, Holland*, Belgium*, Luxembourg*, Greece, Albania, Austria*, Czech Republic, , Switzerland, Sweden Norway, Italy, Croatia, Romania, Denmark Spain, Germany, Andorra, Bulgaria, France, and Belgium*.

Asia (25 000-ish kilometers) --> Iraqi Kurdistan, Georgia ,Turkey and United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, , Malaysia

Africa (10 365 kilometers) --> Morocco, Namibia, Senegal, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and South Africa

Oceania (25000-ish kilometers) --> Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea,

Longest ride: Europe: From Barcelona to 10 minutes from my parents doorstep in Göteborg, Sweden with a somewhat strange truckdriver. 2344 kilometers, 92 hours.

Fastest ride: 1482 km in 7 hours. Messina - Chamonix.

Slowest ride: 25 km in about 7 hours on a small, untrafficked (we didnt see a single other human being), Georgian mountain road although we did come across a abondoned Soviet war-poison factory with all the poison having been left to decompose in a very un-organic way.

Longest waiting time: 24 hours of actively hitchhiking (time spent eating tapas and sleeping 2 nights are not counted ^^). On a petrol station north of Malaga.

Funniest ride: Crazy georgian truckdriver on another small georgian mountain road going to Mestia in the middle of the night.

Longest ride offer: 4127 kilometers from Namibia down to Cape Town then up to Livingstone in Zambia through Durban. Who said you only get short rides in Africa ;D.

Most hitchhiked country - Turkey. 128 days and something like 20000 kilometers (in need of a update haha)

Total distance: Somewhere in between 80 000 and 120 000 kilometers.
