Hitching out

West towards Ufa, Kazan, Moscow (M5)

Take trolleybus 5, 11 or 12 and get off at the stop 'Posyolok AMZ (Поселок АМЗ) and walk half a kilometre further to a traffic police post. Hitch from after the police post.

East towards Kurgan

Take trolleybus 21 from the train station and get off at the last stop. There is a traffic police post at the beginning of the road towards Kurgan and you can hitchhike immediately after it.

South towards Kustanay (Kazakhstan)

This road passes by the town of Troitsk. Your driver may leave you at an intersection

Go to the railway station, cross the pedestrian bridge over the train tracks, and then walk along the street Meridian (Меридиан). This soon becomes Troitskoe šosse (Троицкое шоссе). You can hitchhike after the bridge.

If you are not close to the railway station, another possibility is to take trolleybus 5, 11 or 12, or tram 17 until the stop Oblastnaya bol’nitsa (Областная больница). From there, take bus 14 to Troitskoe šosse.
