43 people, mostly from Germany, but also from [[Ireland]], [[New Zealand]], [[Argentina]], [[Australia]] and Slovenia participated the race. A rule was, that everybody had to hitch in a team of two or more, the teams were not allowed to seperate until they reached the destination camping site in Bled. Also a german TV Team was part of the race and hitched the contest.
We had 21 teams, one with 3 girls (two from New Zealand one from Germany]]), the rest teams of two.
