Arzamas (Russian: Арзамас) is a city in Russia, located in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, 112 km south of Nizhny Novgorod along the R158.

South towards Saransk, Penza, and Saratov via R158

The stop "18th Line (Kirillovsky)" is the closest to the bypass road. You can get there by local buses number 9 and 10A from Sobornaya Square. From the stop, it's a 300-meter walk along a path to the highway.

North towards Nizhny Novgorod via R158

  • Via Gorkovskoye Shosse. Bus stop number 12 is called "Exit to the highway."
  • Via Kazanskaya Street and bypass road. You can walk from "Arzamas-2" station, or take bus 1 or 4 from Sobornaya Square to the stop "st. Arzamas-3". Kazanskaya Street starts right at the stop behind the railway crossing. After 1.5 km you'll reach the exit stele, and after 3 km the intersection with the bypass road.
