News 24 June 2025 The Baltics were chosen as the location for the 2025 Hitchgathering. All hitchhikers are welcome to join the scouting discussion on Signal/Matrix. 11 May 2025 A common format to tag official hitchhiking stops on OpenStreetMap was established. Alongside, all historic spots that used a different way to tag hitchhiking places were altered to adhere to the newly established standard. Now you can assume that this overpass query will give you all official hitchhiking spots that are mapped.
