News 24 June 2025 Voting for the 2025 European Hitchgathering started 11 May 2025 A common format to tag official hitchhiking stops on https://www.openstreetmap.org was established. Alongside, all historic spots that used a different way to tag hitchhiking places were altered to adhere to the newly established standard. Now you can assume that this overpass query will give you all official hitchhiking spots that are mapped.
