Djibouti is a tiny country in the horn of Africa tucked between Somaliland, Ethiopia and Erytrea. An old French colony, the French Somaliland still include a certain amount of French citizens within its border of mainly French Legionnaire and some scientists all concentrated in Djibouti City capital area, which is the main East Africa Sea Port with possibilities to cross over to Yemen.

The climate of Djibouti is dry, arid and extremely hot. Hitching toward Ethiopia through the Logiya Road could reveal harsh due to the extreme heat during the day and the fact that not many cars ventures far from Djibouti City.
