Cameroon is a country in Central Africa with borders to Nigeria, Chad, the Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, and the Republic of the Congo. Compared to some of its neighboring countries it's relatively calm, so hitchhiking during the day might be fairly safe.
