Hitchhiking out
Northeast towards Ankara
To go towards İscehisar, Emirdağ, or Ankara, you need to get on the Ankara Road. You can use public transport going towards Küçüksanayi and Susuz, and start hitchhiking after passing the Afyon Ring Road junction.
Southeast towards Konya
To go towards Şuhut, Çay, Akşehir, or Konya, you should get on the Konya Road. You can use public transport going towards Ali İhsan Paşa and Fevzi Çakmak neighborhoods and, after a short walk, start hitchhiking from the Konya Road.
West towards Uşak, Izmir
To go towards Banaz, Uşak, or Izmir, you need to get on the Izmir Road. You can use public transport going towards Özdilek and get off at the facilities junction, starting your hitchhiking in front of Özdilek.
South towards Denizli, Antalya
To go towards Sandıklı, Dinar, Denizli, Burdur, Isparta, or Antalya, you should get on the Antalya Road. First follow the western direction instructions along the Izmir Road for about 7 km, then take the Antalya turn at Cumhuriyet Facilities and continue hitchhiking from there.
Northwest towards Kütahya, Istanbul
For Altıntaş, Kütahya, Bozüyük, Bursa, or Istanbul, get on the Kütahya Road. Take public transport towards Özdilek and get off at the facilities junction; after passing the İkbal Rest Facility, start hitchhiking.
North towards Eskişehir
For İhsaniye, Seyitgazi, or Eskişehir, get on the Eskişehir Road. Use public transport towards Ahmet Necdet Sezer Campus and start hitchhiking from the campus entrance.
Note: The Afyon–Eskişehir Road via Seyitgazi is not very busy. Depending on the situation, you may follow the northeast instructions and continue to Eskişehir from the Emirdağ junction on Ankara Road. Although it seems longer in distance, using this route, which includes the Konya–Eskişehir–Bursa traffic, will likely be in your favor in terms of time.
Afyon Ring Road (towards Ankara, Konya, Eskişehir, Kütahya, Istanbul, Uşak, Izmir, Denizli, Antalya)
The Afyon Ring Road connects the roads to Konya, Ankara, Eskişehir, Kütahya, Uşak, Izmir, Denizli, and Antalya. If you are on the Afyon Ring Road outside the city, you can hitchhike directly on this road without entering the city center.
