Hitchhiking out
Northeast towards Ankara
You need to get to the Ankara Road to head towards İscehisar, Emirdağ, or Ankara. To do this, you can use public transport heading towards Küçüksanayi and Susuz and start hitchhiking after passing the Afyon ring road junction.
Southeast towards Konya
To reach Şuhut, Çay, Akşehir, or Konya, you should get to the Konya Road. Take public transport towards Ali İhsan Paşa or Fevzi Çakmak Neighborhood and after walking a bit, you can start hitchhiking from the Konya Road.
West towards Uşak, Izmir
To travel towards Banaz, Uşak, or Izmir, get to the Izmir Road. Use public transport going towards Özdilek, get off at the junction near the facilities, and start hitchhiking in front of Özdilek.
South towards Denizli, Antalya
For Sandıklı, Dinar, Denizli, Burdur, Isparta, or Antalya, you should get to the Antalya Road. First, follow the directions for the West route along the Izmir Road for 7 km. After progressing 7 km on the Izmir Road, leave at the Antalya junction near Cumhuriyet Facilities and continue hitchhiking on the Antalya Road.
Northwest towards Kütahya, Istanbul
To go towards Altıntaş, Kütahya, Bozüyük, Bursa, or Istanbul, use the Kütahya Road. Take public transport towards Özdilek, get off at the junction near the facilities, and start hitchhiking shortly after passing the İkbal Rest Area.
North towards Eskişehir
To get to İhsaniye, Seyitgazi, or Eskişehir, use the Eskişehir Road. You can use public transport heading to Ahmet Necdet Sezer Campus and start hitchhiking from the campus entrance.
Although the Afyon-Eskişehir Road through Seyitgazi is not very busy, depending on the situation, you might follow the Northeast instructions to take the Ankara Road and continue to Eskişehir from the Emirdağ junction. Although this seems longer in distance, it may be faster due to heavier Konya-Eskişehir-Bursa traffic on this road.
Afyon Ring Road (Ankara, Konya, Eskişehir, Kütahya, Istanbul, Uşak, Izmir, Denizli, Antalya direction)
The Afyon Ring Road connects the roads to Konya, Ankara, Eskişehir, Kütahya, Uşak, Izmir, Denizli, and Antalya. If you are on the ring road outside the city, you can hitchhike directly on this road without entering the city.
