A50 (Netherlands)
The A50 is a motorway in the Netherlands, running from Eindhoven in the southeast up to Zwolle in the northeast of the country.

It passes the cities of Eindhoven, close to (15 km) Den Bosch, Nijmegen, Arnhem, Apeldoorn and Zwolle.

Knooppunt Paalgraven

- Both petrol stations are good, but stupidly constructed. Two lanes are going like 500 meter until they meet and go up the motorway, so standing at the end is senseless, cars will be already too fast. Choose the lane you think is more crowded, or ask directly at the petrol station. Easy for direction Den Bosch and Nijmegen.

- Useful petrol station towards 's-Hertogenbosch, Eindhoven or Venlo.

- Useful petrol station towards Utrecht, Apeldoorn or Oberhausen (Germany). Also useful to go to Arnhem; walk along the forest 700 meter north till the tunnel with road N224 (Netherlands) which leads into town (bus stop to hitchhike into Arnhem).
- Knooppunt Grijsoord
- Petrol station De Schaars (good).
- Useful petrol station towards Utrecht, 's-Hertogenbosch, Eindhoven or Venlo. This is a busy petrol station. It is possible to get nearby from Arnhem by public transport, then walk to it by the side of the motorway and forest. However, there is a high fence around which is impossible to climb. In the end of 2007 there was a hole in the fence however. To be sure, you may have to take a tool for cutting away one line of barbed wire. This will grant access to this service area ;). From here it is easy to go to all cities in the west of the Netherlands, and it is one of the best places in the east of the Netherlands to find a ride to Brabant or .
- Knooppunt Waterberg (average) to the west. This junction is combined with A12 ramp 26. Cars cannot stop on the ramp to the west, but it is quite easy to get a ride from the traffic lights, and every car can take you to the next great petrol station.
- Chance to get over to the A12 towards Zevenaar and Oberhausen (Germany).
- 20 Arnhem-Centrum only to the north (average)/ (good) heading north.
- Three minutes walk from junction Waterberg, where there is a bus stop for regional buses from Arnhem to Apeldoorn.
