Arzamas (Russian: Арзамас) is a city in Russia in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, located 112 km south of Nizhny Novgorod on the R158 highway.

Hitchhiking out
South towards Saransk, Penza, and Saratov via R158
The stop “18th Line (Kirilovsky)” is closest to the ring road. City buses No. 9 and 10A go there from Sobornaya Square. From the stop, it is 300 meters by a footpath to the highway.
