The Galaţi-Giugiuleşti border crossing connects Romania near the city of Galaţi and the Republic of Moldova near the village of Giugiuleşti. A route from Moldova into Ukraine, the Giugiuleşti-Reni border crossing, is only two kilometers down along the same road.
Walking across this border is not permitted. One can stand in front of the police checkpoint to get a lift across.
