Zlatoust (Russian: Златоуст) is a city in Russia, located in Chelyabinsk Oblast. It is one of the most mountainous cities of the Urals, with residential districts situated at elevations of 400–600 m above sea level. To the east of the city lies the border between Europe and Asia.

Hitchhiking out

West towards Satka, Yuryuzan, Ufa via M5

• The Uren'ginskaya interchange is located five kilometers from the southern edge of the city. Public transport goes only as far as the roundabout at the end of Lenin Street, to the stop called "Uren'ga." Take bus No. 4 or minibus No. 20 to the end of the line. From there, only local hitchhiking to the interchange is possible.

East towards Chelyabinsk and Magnitogorsk via M5

• You need the "Novozlatoustovskaya fork." Bus No. 434, which runs from the bus station to Veselovka, stops here. Be sure to tell the driver to drop you off at the fork!
• If you don't want to wait for the bus to Veselovka, you can reach the settlement of Balashiha by bus No. 2 or minibuses No. 19, 30, 43, 44.

East towards Miass via Miass tract

• The easternmost area is called Urzhumka. There is a train station of the same name, as well as the final stop for bus No. 1 and minibuses No. 13, 16, 39.
• The Miass tract itself is a continuation of Griboedova Street. Minibuses No. 24, 12, 26, 40 go there.
