==christmas & turkish trucks==
Normally, they should not have off and drive as Muslims do not celebrate Christmas, but Eid al-Adha / Kurban Bayramı that was this year beginning of December. However, it might be that they do not drive to/from Christian places as the companies are closed there. I try to think of it and asked around the next couple of days as I will come up this route the next days. --[[User:Alex|Alex]] 18:36, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

:Hey alex, thanks for picking up some info! I'm starting on the 27th, going via Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, towards BG. For what I know is that Serbians celebrate christmas on 7 January, but Croatians and Bulgarians on 25/26th. Confusing! :) So maybe crossing Serbia might not be a problem. We'll see. Good luck on the last kilometers home, and please also report about current weather conditions in the Balkans! Cheers, --[[User:Platschi|Platschi]] 14:09, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
