Hitchhiking out

South towards Poznań 11

  • From bus stop close to the city centre

From main roundabout in the city centre go south along Piastów alley, cross the railway bridge and turn left behind it to Poznańska street. There is a bus stop where you can hitch.

  • From junction with traffic lights on city bypass

From city centre take bus 1 or 15 direction Lelewela Pętla and get off at Bydgoska-Lelewela. From there walk along main street till you get to the junction on city bypass. Once you're there turn right (south) and walk for about 200m till the beginning of emergency lane where cars can stop.

If you just bypass the city going south to Poznań and your driver goes east to Bydgoszcz (which happens quite often) ask him/her to be dropped here. For direction Bydgoszcz it's the last traffic lights, so just say ostatnie światła [pronounce ostatnyeh shvyatwa].
