:Banff is a tourist resort town (which means it had not permanent inhabitants) situated in the National Park of the same name (which on a North American concept, the national park does not include any permanent inhabitants but does include resort). Banff (and Jasper) are 2 of the biggest National parks in the country (probably the size of Luxembourg) and located in Alberta, at the border with BC. I called them Banff National Park and Jasper National Park on the Calgary and Edmonton pages. Maplefanta 19:15, 5 December 2007 (CET)
