Robino hitchhiking in Granada

Hitching in Spain is not as good as in some other European countries. You usually have to wait for some time - but those who pick you up at last tend to be really nice. Patiente will be your best weapon and I am not talking about half to one hour patiente since, once, I had to wait 4 hours to get a 300 kilometers ride with lunch included towards Madrid. It seems waiting at autopista toll stops isn't allowed though.

In Spain it is very important to talk to drivers. Walk up to drivers at gas stations and ask them where they are heading to. Knowing some sentences in Spanish helps you a lot.
