Salt Lake City (nicknames: Salt Lake, SLC, "SL,UT") is the capitol and the largest city in Utah, home to 1,1 million Utahans. It lies on the Wasatch Mountain Range, at the edge of the Rockies. It's known as the birthplace of Neal Cassady and according to Jack Kerouac, "Neal Cassady was born in Paradise!"
