Piła [pronounce pee-wah] is a city in north western Poland, with more than 75 thousand inhabitants. Cars registered in Piła have registration plates PP.

South towards Poznań

  • By national road 11, from bus stop close to city centre

From main roundabout in the city centre go south along Piastów alley, cross the railway bridge and turn left behind it to Poznańska street. There is a bus stop where you can hitch.

North towards Koszalin, Kołobrzeg

  • By national road 11, from crossroad with traffic lights on city bypass

From bus stop Al. Piastów near main roundabout in city centre take bus 2 direction Zbrojna and get off at the last stop. From there walk straight along the main road for about 1km, till you get to the crossroad with traffic lights. You can hitch just behind the junction.

Northwest towards Wałcz, Szczecin

  • By national road 10, from crossroad with traffic lights on city bypass

It's the same junction like in the direction Koszalin, see above for details. Once you get there turn left and start hitching just behind it.
