The M40 is a motorway in Denmark, it leads from the Great Belt bridge to the Little Belt bridge. It is part of the E 20. Between the Great Belt bridge and the Little Belt bridge the motorway is also known as Fynske Motorvej, between the Little Belt bridge and Fredericia the motorway is known as Østjyske Motorvej and between Fredericia and Kolding the motorway is known as Taulovmotorvejen.
