Hitchhiking out

West towards Peno and Svapusche via 28K-1185

Option 1 - Volodarsky Street Exit

The exit from the city is at the end of Volodarsky Street. It is a short walk from the train station—go along Konstantin Zaslonov Street to the end and turn left. The hitchhiking spot is after the bridge over the river; pick-up chances are good here.

East towards Torzhok and Selizharovo via A111 (new number 28K-1785) (also fast towards Moscow and Saint Petersburg)

Option 1 - Zagorodnaya Street Exit

The exit from the city is along Zagorodnaya Street. The city stretches out quite a bit in this direction, so it is not necessary to go all the way to the very end (almost at the turn to Nilova Pustyn), but it does make sense to walk some distance past the city. Just after the city limit sign, to the north, the 28N-1197 road branches off, used to reach Nilova Pustyn and the eastern and northeastern part of Seliger.
