Option 1 - Sulak Highway ("shosse na Sulak")
Locals call this the "Sulak highway". Take minibus #108 from the roundabout at Deputatsky Square to the turn to Sulak village. There is a police post (DPS) before the bridge over the Sulak river, which is the key spot.
West towards Khasavyurt and Grozny via R217
Option 1 - Ali-Gadji Akushinsky Avenue Bypass Roundabout
The roundabout at the bypass and Ali-Gadji Akushinsky Avenue has the "Northern" police post (DPS) in the center. Minibuses #88, 90, 106, 125, 146, 188 stop here.
South towards Derbent and Baku via R217
Option 1 - Akhmed-Khan Sultan Avenue Interchange
Akhmed-Khan Sultan Avenue leads to a new interchange with an overpass. In the center there is a tall stele and the "Southern" DPS post. Minibuses 4, 15, 15A, 20, 22A, 30, 61A, 101 can take you here. Walk ahead from the interchange to the Lukoil gas station.
