Villa Traful is a small town on RP65 in the middle of Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi in the Southwest of Argentina.
Hitchhiking in/out
Villa Traful can be reached only on RP65 either from west (RN40, San Martin de los Andes or Villa La Angostura) or east (RN237 Bariloche or Neuquen). There is significantly less traffic as on RN40 and the state of the road is bad. Hitching from the intersection RN237/RP65/RP63 gives you plenty of options if you don't get a lift. Same goes for RN40. If you can't get a lift here, you can still walk to the camping at Lago Correntoso.
