Khujand (formerly called Leninabad) is the second largest city in Tajikistan, located in the northern part of the country.
Hitching out
South towards Dushanbe, Ayni, Panjakent
From the main bus station (avtovokzal) take minibus 45 towards the suburb Proletarsky in the south. Get out when you see the toll booth ahead of you, just before the minibus turns left into Proletarsky. You can hitch from after the toll booth.
