South to Malmö
It's extremely easy to get a ride to Malmö from Lund. If you walk or bike south on Södra Storgatan (from Stortorget), you will find one of the best hitchhiking spots I ever have come across. North to Stockholm or Göteborg
Hitchhike to Malmö and Värnhem where it's easy to find a ride to the north. Write Helsingborg on the sign, but make sure you get off att the gas station/truckstop in Glumslöv. It's also possible to take the train to Glumslöv right away. At the truck station there are many cars and trucks that pass and it's common to get a ride all the way to Göteborg or Stockholm right there..
