Hitching out
West towards Eindhoven, Antwerpen
From the station, take bus #6 to Sint Urbanusweg. Walk into Sint Urbanusweg until you reach a bridge. Turn left behind the bridge, there is a petrol station on the motorway. The bus ticket is EUR 1,20.
South towards Mönchengladbach, Cologne
The German A61 starts right at the border at a big roundabout. There is a petrol station and a toll boot, so it's probably the best place to get a ride here. Diesel is much cheaper in the Netherlands than in Germany, so you will find a lot of Germans at petrol stations close to the border.
