Hi Maplefanta. For the spot at the Blijde Inkomstlaan towards Leuven/Liege: do I understand well the spot is best usefull if the parking is empty? I know there are little good spots from Brussels towards Leuven etc. I think the spot is not exactly drawn on Liftershalte, but almost nonetheless. Thanks for help ;) --Fverhart 17:18, 6 November 2007 (CET)

Eh Frank, the spot is indeed better if there is no car parked, but it is rarely (if ever) fully parked. So Far I have always only seen a maximum of one car parked there out of a possibility of four. Still, the traffic is slow and someone could stop quickly without disturbing the flow of circulation. Currently there is construction going on in this neighbourhood for at least a year still, so no car will park there. The only thing to pay attention is that this spot is especially great to catch white collar traffic or EU workers, and therefore it is more dead on Sunday... you just wait more long. But average waiting time is 5-10 minutes or the fifth car. Maplefanta 14:29, 16 November 2007 (CET)

This is not a stub

We should use Template:Stub only for articles that hardly contain any info. Maybe it's time to create Template:Infoneeded... guakasite, wikitalk 2007

Tram 4 option Drogenbos

The Tram 4 option was just somehow garbled. Should probably restore it... guaka 19:25, 14 November 2010 (CET)

Problem with "hitchhiking to Paris" option

I have tried hitchhiking to Paris last weekend, using the Gare du Midi and bus 50 option. There must be some error with the name of the stop: Zwede is the first stop of the bus after Gare du Midi, it only takes 3 minutes by foot to get there. I don't know which subsequent stop would be better, but I hope someone who knows Brussels well could correct it.

  • Done. --GeorgDerReisende 13:59, 5 November 2011 (CET) The same bus goes further to a busstop 'Voetbalclub', there goes a street named 'Hemelstraat' to the left which leads to the area of the service station, but it is not seen on the maps, if there is a fence or gate which may hinder the hitchhikers.
  • I would rather recommend taking tram 4 to Stalle - Personally, I find it confusing to take some of these "De Lijn" busses ( flemish public transportation company, towards flemish suburbs around Brussels ) + they do not pass by as often as Tram 4 / who , during day time, passes every 10 minutes ( Stib - Region of Brussels transportation company ) Dante
