Each one of these routes have specific places for hitchhiking, usually on the outskirts of the city. You can normally tell where these are, because you'll see a bunch of people hitchhiking, as it's very popular in Romania.
It's recommended that you take a bus from one exit to another. A bus ticket (including 2 allowing two rides) costs 4 lei (about 75 Eurocents0.90€). Tickets have to must be validated by using in the punchers machine or ticket-puncher on the bus.
