Besides not adding the same picture in more than one place, can you also use Photoshop/GIMP/whatever to reduce the size of your uploaded pictures. I've just reduced [http://hitchwiki.org/en/File:CraigIsraelKfarAdomim.jpg CraigIsraelKfarAdomim.jpg] to a quarter of its original size, without it being noticeable...
