If you're traveling south you could take a bus to Mosgiel and simply walk to the highway. It usually won't take more than 20-30 minutes to get a ride.
[User:krischoon|krischoon]]: I went to the end of Cumberland St, there is a fuel station you can ask there or stand on the right side of the St but for me both options didn't went well so I walked on to the motorway and stood on the lawn. It's a quite dangerous place but I god a right there.
