Take the bus #18 (close to old town where McDonalds is) to the final stop - There's a huge road to the south. One stop earlier you also find a petrol station. But be prepared for a minimum 30 minutes bus ride! Also bus #10 and 14 stop nearby, at their end stations. The buses leave from Viru keskus (basement) on Narva Maantee and the fare is 13 Kroons
When arriving at the port from Helsinki (Viking line) just walk to the road next to the passenger terminal and stick out your thumb. Many trucks can take you all the way to the Polish border.

Take on of the busses 12/54/55/100/102/104/ 106/129/134/139/143/150-155/ 283/286 to Pae. There hitch from the crossroad of Peterburi Tee and Pae.
