Nevinnomyssk (Russian: Невинномысск) is a city in the North Caucasus, in the south of Russia. It is an industrial center of Stavropol Krai, located on the banks of the Kuban River.

Hitchhiking out

North towards Stavropol via R216

• BlaBlaCar to Stavropol costs 100-130 RUB per person, with dozens of trips daily.
• If you prefer hitchhiking, first get to the "Kavkaz" highway. 15 km toward Armavir there is an interchange to Stavropol.

Northeast towards Armavir and Kropotkin via R217

• The exit via Mendeleev Street is inconvenient for hitchhiking. There is no public transport and the road has a dividing barrier with high speeds.
• Many buses and minibuses go through the Central Market on Gagarina Street. There is a traffic light here, and it's possible to stop cars from a pack.

Southwest towards Pyatigorsk and Nalchik via R217

• Take any transport to the bus station. Just after it, there is a roundabout.

South towards Cherkessk via R217

• The bypass for transit traffic skirts the city from the east, via the village of Kochubeyevskoye.
• In the center of Ivanovskoye village, it intersects with Kalinina main street from the city center. Cross the Bolshoy Zelenchuk river bridge; at the exit, there is a RosNeft gas station.
