Chuy
Chuy is town in Uruguay on the border with Brazil.
Hitchhiking out
Right after passport control you can get a ride in about 5 minutes, unfortunately rides will be short most of the time, so try to get to Uruguay early in the morning, otherwise you will be stuck in Punta del Diablo (a beautiful beach town) or Castillo. Before, there's also a lovely and (except in summer) empty national park called Santa Teresa, which is worth a visit. Be aware that wild camping is officially forbidden there, though there are designated camping spots available.
