Hitchhiking out
Northwest towards Ankara
To go towards Ankara and Şereflikoçhisar, you need to get on the Ankara Road. You can either walk 1.5 km from the city center to the Ağaçlı Tesisleri junction or take a minibus going towards the Industrial Zone (Sanayi Sitesi). After passing Ağaçlı Tesisleri, you can start hitchhiking. Alternatively, you can take the Topakkaya minibus and start hitchhiking from any point on the Ankara Road.
East towards Nevşehir, Kayseri
To go towards Nevşehir or Kayseri, you need to get on the Kayseri Road. You can take public buses heading to Zafer Mahallesi or Toki and get off on the Nevşehir Road to start hitchhiking.
South towards Niğde, Adana
To go towards Niğde or Adana, you need to get on the Adana Road. You can take public buses heading to the bus station and, after getting off, walk 250 meters to start hitchhiking from the Konya-Adana junction. Campus buses should be avoided, as they do not generally reach the Adana Road.
West towards Konya
To go towards Konya, you need to get on the Konya Road. Take public buses heading to the bus station, then walk 250 meters from the bus station to the Konya-Adana junction to start hitchhiking.
Northeast towards Kırşehir
To go towards Ortaköy or Kırşehir, you need to get on the Kırşehir Road. Follow the instructions for the northwest direction and continue hitchhiking from the Kırşehir Road junction at the 15th kilometer of the Ankara Road.
