To reach autobahn A4 / E40 take [http://87.118.120.51/fileadmin/user_upload/swi/pdf/linien/Linie_6.pdf bus 6] direction LEGEFELD and get of at 'Einkaufszentrum Humboldtstraße'. Walk towards the main road 'Berkaer Straße' (B85). People driving there are only commuting but they can take you until the autobahn interchange of A4. You have to wait between 5 and 30 minutes until cars stop. Alternatively you can walk 15 to 20 minutes to the autobahn.

Go to the intersection on B7 of 'Friedensstraße', 'Jenaer Straße', 'Hans-Wahl-Straße' and 'Tiefurter Allee' (find the address on GOOGLE-maps). This should not take longer than five minutes walking from the city center of Weimar. There is a traffic light with plenty of cars passing by and long red-phases. Almost every third car passing this point travels to Jena from here as taking autobahn A4 would be a detour.
