After working during the summer of 2007 to raise money, Miguel will be travelling for (at least) a year Now living in SouthBerlin, Central and North America and in the mean time will spend six months working Germany as a volunteer in an orphanage near Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, called [http://www.casadocaminhobrasil.org/ Casa do Caminho]Erasmus student and planning many more hitching trips!

On the 15th of February 2007 a friend and I had our longest ride ever: from Nîmes to Cologne, it was something around 1130 km :)
My longest wait was in [[France]] where I stayed at a gas station for 2 hours. Not much, I know.
Has hitchhiked in Europe and America. Total land covered? Around 27370 km.
