==The History of Why arriving at the 888 ProjectPalais de Tokyo in Paris?==
===The History of the 888 Project===

The finish line of the 888 project was partly set up at the Palais de Tokyo because of the story associated with the name Tokyo.
Before the 888 project was organized, there were a large number of signs regarding Tokyo:
On December 2nd, 2007, Pascal Dumond and Fabrice Renucci , respectively from Quebec and France, drew a "[[Tokyo|TOKYO]]" hitchhiking sign to get back to Lille, France from Rotterdam, the Netherlands...
On December 3rd, 2007, Erik Van Loon, an Dutch artist, called hist his two friends Pascal Dumond and Fabrice Renucci and told them and that their Tokyo hitchhiking sign had inspired him to create a Hitchhiking Race to the Palais de Tokyo in Paris. His idea was actually to tell people that it was race to Tokyo, Japan before telling them that it was actually going to be organized in Paris
On December 4th, 2007, Erik Van Loon was offered three plane tickets to "Tokyo" from a friend of his. He gave Fabrice and Pascal a call around 2 a.m. in which he asked them to call him back before 10a.m. if they wanted to go to Tokyo with him. Fabrice did not check his messages before noon. As for Pascal, he actually checked his voicemail shortly after 2a.m. but did not call back Erik since he was sure that it was a joke (especially after the previous two events).
On December 16th, the international art group '''Sun Rain Stars''' (www.sunrainstars.com) led by Erik Van Loon (www.erikvanloon.com) unveiled their latest art show '''Fight For Love'''in Tokyo.

===The Palais de Tokyo on 888===

The location of the Palais de Tokyo is prefect because it is located right across the Eiffel Tower.
The Palais de Tokyo is a contemporary art museum which has been seeking to bring together the best from international and French creators ever since it opened up in 2002.
The museum sees contempary art as a detached, independent creation from the point of view of the artist.

On August 8th, 2008, hitchhikers will join on a march from the '''Eiffel Tower''' to the '''Palais de Tokyo''' starting at 8p.m.
Upon their arrival, the '''Sun Rain Stars''' will upload the photos taken by the hitchhikers. They will edit the photos, print them out and then Erik
