==Hitching Out=====North towards [[Budapest]]===When hitchhiking from '''Pécs''' to (''Fünfkirchen'' in German) is the fifth largest city of [[BudapestHungary]], take a local bus (240 Forintnot far from the [[Croatia]]n border. Being almost 2000 years old, roughly 1 Euro, but it's easy to blitz, just watch Pécs is the controllers) to ''Budai Allomas'' bus stop. Although cultural centre of the road 6/E73 goes straight through '''Pécssurrounding county of ''Baranya', you simply won't get and a ride inside the city. At ''Budai Allomas'' you'll get one fastlong standing melting pot of numerous different cultures.

===South towards [[Sarajevo]]===When hitchiking from '''Pécs''' Another possibility to [[Sarajevo]] go on main road 6th, until Szekszárd, there you can take local bus 20 or 20A to the last stopM6 as well. Walk The reason to take the main road, which rather then the highway directly from Pécs: the highway is a big detour compared to the 57 and hitch south in direction of Mohacsroad 6. Eventually you'll hit The road 6 goes across the Mecsek (a roundabout where you can either go straight into hill north of the city of Mohacs or right towards Udvar - town), the border crossing M60 starts from Hungary into Bosnia. Head towards Udvar. Rides are a bit sparse here and most heading that direction are actually heading into a back road the south of Mohacsthe town, not to Udvar. So if your ride drops you off herebypasses the Mecsek, you'll have a more select audience if you walk a bit until you cross a bridge it is about 40 km longer between Pécs and pass the small road to Mohacs on the left. Once you reach the border crossing, there's quite a few trucks there you can catch a ride withSzekszárd.
