Near the drugstore at the N60 cars drive slower because of the speed cameras. There is plenty of space for cars to stop. It's about 400m from the city centre. There are much round abouts on the road towards Gent, so it's easy to hitch from one round about to another. This road also crosses the E17 so easy connection to Antwerpen or Lille.
