Lapland is very popular among tourists for its beautiful nature and ski resorts. Because of the region draws so many tourists, it's is also slightly more expensive than southern Finland. Lapland is also reachable by trains or bussesbuses.

 Only 184 000 people live in this area, so it's not too much of there are relatively few cars and roadshighways. Lapland is very popular among tourists for it's beautifull nature and ski resorts. More The further north you go, less the fewer cars you haveare on the road. However, hitchhiking to [[North Cape]] through Lapland is quite possible and draws many hitchhikers each season.
