It's located west of the ferry port in Sampierdarena quarter ([[France]])Google 44.411132, north towards [[Milano]] ===Take 8.900976 and you will get the petrol station just before motorwayexact location). You can reach it taking buses There are many busses going to that goes to "Sanpierdarena"area but we found the bus system rather confusing and thus walked. This should be the perfect spot for anybody heading North or West.

You Or you can take the number catch public transport no. 1 bus to , 7, 9, 18 or 20 (depends from which part of the town called Voltricity you will start) , get out at Cantore 4 / S.B. Just del Fossato (Fermata a richiesta) stop , walk straight up the street ~800m and turn left before the gas station because if you enter into 'll take another left up the town itself there is an entrance ramp there hill you will find a perfect spot to hitchhike behind the A10 to France and Savona; This entrance ramp also leads to other gas station under the bridge (turn right at the exit) : plenty of space for the E 25highway cars to Milano. I was there 2 hours on July 31st 09, then I gave up. The train ticket from Voltri to Vitimigliastop, right on a roof above the border with France, was 8 euroshead if it rains.

There is a petrol station near the motorway in the community Nervi. Take the bus 17 from the centre of Genova and get off at the stop ''Autostrada''. The road goes up the bridge and, technically, it's not the highway yet so you can can stand there with your thumb up without fearing the police. Most the traffic is not going far at all so you'll likely only get to the first service station.
