Public transportation is very poor in Cyprus so, to get in to some places you have to hitchhike or rent a car. Knowing that, special especial in rural areas in Troodos moutains is easy to hitchhike, even with small little trafic, everyone stops for you, even if you don't ask for itwithout asking.
