Hitchhiking out
The best way to hitchhike out of Ansbach is at the traffic light intersection on the B13 shortly before the southern edge of the city. From the train station, you can walk there in about half an hour, or take bus lines 736, 753, 762, or 802 to the "Wasserturm" stop. It's best to stand at the bus stop with a sign showing which motorway you want to head to. You can also try to get a ride to the Brodswinden service area and ask people there—if that doesn't work, you can walk to the motorway entrance in about five minutes. There is plenty of space to stop along the way.
