Alba lulia is a city in Romania.
I have tried - with a group of friends - hitchhiking in and out the city to-from Sibiu, it was quite easy, fast, we made a race, 4 groups, it appears that Hitchhiking works very well here

The gas station near the main bus station, is a very common place for hitchhiking, even by locals, we managed on a "Sunday" to find 2 rides in less than 30 minutes, a sign with "Sibiu" it take 1.5 hour to be there
