Hitchhiking out

East towards Novorossiysk and Krasnodar via A290

  • Junction with the Anapa Highway. Bus stop "Vesovaya" for minibuses No. 115 and No. 132, price 40 RUB. You can ask the driver to let you out right at the turn. Choose a spot on the roadside opposite the monument and start hitchhiking. There may be fruit and souvenir vendors and people offering accommodation here. Taxi drivers know that there are a lot of hitchhikers at this spot and will drop people off here.
  • You can take a bus/minibus towards Novorossiysk and get out at the fork near Verkhnebakanskiy. You can walk along Lenin Street for around 15 minutes and reach a spot where the roads from Novorossiysk and Anapa merge. This option is for those who don't want to hitchhike in a resort area.

North towards Varennikovskaya, Slavyansk-na-Kubani, Krasnodar

  • Village of Chemburka. Minibuses No. 110 and 121. Walk a bit ahead from the stop and hitchhike near the gas station. Alternatively, go to Gostagaevskaya. Boarding a No. 110 minibus costs 70 RUB for about 27 km; No. 132 costs 80 RUB (up to 34 km). Pay the driver in cash or by bank card.

North towards Temryuk and the Crimea ferry via A290

  • It's hard to say where the resort ends and the "regular highway" begins. You can head out of town, turning towards Vityazevo. However, taxi drivers operate even further—make it clear you are a hitchhiker! You can take various minibuses to the airport turn. The highway to the ferry branches off near the village of Dzhiginka. You can get there by minibuses No. 102, 103, 105, 107, 108, and 122.
