Almetyevsk (Russian: Альметьевск) is a city in Russia, located in the south of the Tatarstan region. It is the fourth largest city in Tatarstan by population and importance.

Northwest towards Chistopol and Kazan via R239

The roundabout at the bypass road and Izail Zaripov avenue. The nearest public transport stop is "Vertolyotnaya Ploshchadka" (helicopter pad), buses No. 8A and 8B. Walk past the helipad onto the avenue, turn west, and go to the next roundabout (about 1.6 km on foot).
Alternatively look for a suburban bus to the first village along the route, "Kulsharipovo".

South towards Bugulma, Orenburg, Akbulak, and the border with Kazakhstan via R239

Public transport stop "TNGP". Buses No. 1 and 6 go there. Nearby is the "Trolleybus Depot", which may have a cheap canteen—check it out. You can hitch here, or walk 2.5 km along the road to the exit sign.

North towards Naberezhnye Chelny via 16A-0003

Almetyevsk stele (city entry monument) at the beginning of the bypass. The nearest stop is "Mikrorayon Zapadnye Vorota" (bus No. 3A) or also "Prospekt Zaripova" (bus No. 4A). You can try hitchhiking to the end of the bypass or walk 2.5 km.

East towards Aznakaevo via 16K-0077

Public transport stop "Nizhnyaya Maktama". Routes No. 1 and 6. Turn onto Nekrasova St., then walk 1 km to the city edge.

Northeast towards Muslyumovo

Public transport stop "Mashinniy Park", buses No. 8A and 8B.
