Another option is to go to the same spot wich is mentionned above for north and south direction. You might need a sign because drivers will be headed to many different destinations from there.

To this day, there is only buses lines which crosses the city in all directions, also to go outside the city. All the buses start from the central train station. The first buses are at 5h45 until 21h45, is the bus line n°5 ("Salzinnes") the most popular one.
A ticket cost EUR 1.70, you can purchase it from the bus driver or in front of the central station at "La Maison du TEC". It is valid for 60 minutes. Is you stay for a few days, the best is to buy a 10 stops card (it costs EUR 9.70).
