When hitchhiking from '''Pécs''' to [[Budapest]], take a local bus, e.g. 2 or 2/A,(240 Forint, roughly 1 Euro, but it's easy to blitz, just watch the controllers) to ''Budai Allomas'' bus stop. Although the road 6/E73 goes straight through '''Pécs''', you simply won't get a ride inside the city. At ''Budai Allomas'' there is a crossroad with a traffic light. Cross, walk towards the direction of Budapest, downhill. Start hitching when you passed the petrolstation, and you are at the other side of the vallyvalley, under the busstop sign. That is where you are the most visible.
